Participate in the Flower Parade

Welcome and thank you for your interest in our annual Flower Parade!

  • The theme for 2026 is: “The World in Bloom” 

  • Your costume and/or float must be inspired by flowers in different cultures in the world; think of traditions, celebrations, holidays, costumes that involve flowers, or landmarks and traditional gardens of those different countries (flowers can be painted, fresh, artificial, paper, fabric, plants, etc.)

  • Your float must be non-motorized and not larger than 3 feet wide by 6 feet long.

  • Only natural flowers/petals can be thrown in the audience. No candies or other products will be permitted.

  • 10:30 AM Line-up of Participants by the main stage between the American garden and entry gates.

  • 11:30 AM Flower Parade begins by the main stage.

  • All participants must be at the International Peace Gardens of Salt Lake City an hour early (9 AM) to install.

*Entry applications will be rejected if the Flower Parade Committee, in its sole discretion and judgment, determines an entry to be political, controversial, unlawful or otherwise inconsistent with the standards, theme or purpose of the Flower Parade of Salt Lake City.
