Apply as a vendor

Important Dates

  • July 20th, 2026: FOOD Vendors - Last day to submit your application

  • Aug 21st, 2026: CRAFTS and other Non-Food Vendors - Last day to submit your application 

  • Sept 19th, 2026: Folk Festival, Flower Parade, and Market day from 11 AM to 3 PM

  • Sept 19th, 2026: Set up from 10-11 AM, cleanup from 3-4 PM

Details

  • Vendor emails will be sent out the last week of August and again a week prior

  • Only artisanal and local vendors will be selected (no mass or industrial production)

  • Products and services have to be in relation to flowers, gardens, peace, the gardens they represent, well-being, etc.

  • Setting up prior to 10 AM is fine but no earlier than 8:30 AM

  • Be ready to sell by 10:45 AM (officially 11 AM)

  • Bring your own table and tent, and your own material

  • No staking tents only use above ground weights such as sandbags to secure canopies. 

  • There are no power sources available within the park, so plan accordingly. 

  • You will be assigned a specific spot where you will install your tent

  • No alcohol vendors in the park

  • Food Vendors selling prepackaged food who are not cooking onsite, may set up within the gardens they represent

  • Food Vendors cooking onsite will be required to set up within the parking lot directly south of the entry gates  *all food vendors cooking onsite will be required to apply for a temporary food permit through the health department no later than a month prior to the event: https://www.saltlakecounty.gov/health/food-protection/permits/temporary/

  • Come at the time of installation (2 hours before the start of the event). No cars are allowed inside the gates of the International Peace Gardens, you must carry your supplies and setup yourself (bring a wagon or else)

  • Commit to staying until 3 PM

  • Vendors can sell in the time it takes everyone to take down the event but not beyond that, as per our permit contract.  We need to make sure all vendors are out of the park and everything has been cleaned up by the time the organizers are ready to leave

*Entry applications will be rejected if the Flower Parade Committee, in its sole discretion and judgment, determines an entry to be political, controversial, unlawful or otherwise inconsistent with the standards, theme or purpose of the Flower Parade of Salt Lake City.
